If you're a sports enthusiast like me, you probably caught the NBA championship game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics last week. It was a blowout with the Celtics taking the coveted title. I've always been a Kevin Garnett fan so it's nice to see him finally get a ring. I just love to watch athletes in action. I love how focused they are.
As someone who's played volleyball, basketball, and softball, I know how much focus is involved in playing a sport. I'm still in awe of how Tiger Woods was able to win the U.S. Open with a knee injury. Here's a clip of Tiger making one of his famous putts...
Now that's what I call intense focus! And as I'm writing this I'm watching the NCAA College World Series Finals where Fresno State has just came back after being down 5 to 0. It's all about focus.
And speaking of focus, make sure to check out this checklist for creating a customer-focused culture. I recommend printing it out and giving it to all members of your team!

Maria,
Focus makes even the average athlete or business person among the very best at what they do. Great post! Go Green!
