If you've ever thought that the little things don't count, think again...

I went into a new Borders bookstore yesterday to treat myself to a coffee and relax after a day of writing.  I wandered around hoping to soak up all the knowledge in the books through osmosis.

The store had a great setup with a little digital station right in the center where people could listen to music and even create their own CD or hop on a computer and browse the Borders website.  The store had that "new store" energy surrounding it.  I loved it.  Until I went into the bathroom...

If you recall, for the past couple years I've participated in the Bathroom Blogfest because I believe that the restroom is one of the most important areas of the store.  So, after seeing all the great things in this store, I was a little disappointed to see this...

Ok, in retrospect it probably wasn't that bad.  It was just a bunch of toilet paper.  It could've been worse!  I will give Borders credit for having one of these steps for shorter people or kids to stand on as they wash their hands...
