The Super Tuesday Primaries took place yesterday and everyone's abuzz about the upcoming U.S. presidential election. My friend and I had a conversation about Obama and Clinton - wondering who will make the better leader.
What I really want to know is: Who will serve the people better?
My friend said that Hillary Clinton doesn't believe that "working together" is the key to a better nation. I haven't seen Hillary speak and to be quite honest, have no idea where she stands on any issues, so I'm just going on what my friend is telling me. What I will say is that working together is the only way that we are truly going to have a "United States" of America.
In a business or political environment, people have to work together in order to accomplish goals. If your goal is to improve customer service or serve the people, the leader is the one who initiates action and everyone does their job to make it happen. It shouldn't matter whether you're black, white, Democrat, or Republican. There should be no separation.
For me, it isn't a matter of who has more experience. A leader must be inspiring, be able to give hope to our broken spirits, be honest, have the ability to work with everyone, but most of all be able to create unity among people and serve them well. Those are the leaders who lead businesses to success and those are the leaders who will create a real "United States" of America.

I'm afraid I take a cynical view on these things. The head of state is the public face - the TV face of public addresses. Ultimately key decisions are never going to be too heavily influenced by the views of such an individual (irrespective of what "24" may portray), it just would not make good sense. What sort of machine would allow such power to an individual of such limited talents like GWB? It doesn't happen
Personally speaking I think it would be good for American Society to have a president that is so obviously not a redneck, like Obama. I think it may give off the type of positive vibe that the country is ready for. Of the remaining front runners, he's the one who seems to have had the fewest obvious leg-ups. Up there on his merits and endeavors. Following on from GB I think it'd be good if someone looked like they'd earned it. Hilary reminds me too much of Margaret Thatcher I'm afraid
