Devoted to customer service and the principles of exceptional customer services

My post on Jeremy Shoemaker's comments has created quite a bit of dialogue and debate - which is great.  As Shaun Sayers says, "The arguments are actually worth thinking about as the worst thing we can ever do is stop challenging the status quo."

I understand that Shoemaker was taking a viewpoint based on economics.  I'll admit that economics was not my best subject in college.  I think I skated by with a C-.  The only concept I understood was supply vs demand and everything else went through one ear and out the other.  I was more interested in "people" subjects like psychology and sociology...why people do the things they do.

However, I do know that the U.S. economy is walking on a thin line right now.  Retailers are frightened.  Want to know who isn't frightened?  People who give great customer service.  Mike Sigers knows what I'm talking about.
