Celebrity Apprentice: It's Not About the Product
If there's one reality show I think business people should watch, it's Donald Trump's "The Apprentice".  The first couple years the show aired, I was addicted to it.  Granted, I could do without all the big egos and drama (I'm sure it's to keep the show interesting), but that's the way some people do act in business. 

celebrity%20apprentice.jpg This season Trump brought in the celebrities who will be competing to raise money for charity which adds another dimension to the show.  I'm a bit surprised to see Omarosa make it back, but then again she's the one who creates all that drama that unfortunately, many people like to watch.

 

Who the heck wants to work for someone like Omarosa? That's the question that kept going through my mind as I watched her take lead as Project Manager of the first task.  How can you perform at your best or even want to perform your best when you have Omarosa as your boss?  How can you give 100% to your customers when you have a leader who has the it's-my-way-or-the-highway attitude? 

On a more positive note, viewers learned that when it comes to sales, it's not about the product, it's about the person selling the product.  The celebrities used their influence to make money.  The thing is, each and every one of us could have that same kind of status.  When you're a likable person, people will pay premium price for the product!
