"Let your mind start a journey thru a strange new world. Leave all thoughts of the world you knew before. Let your soul take you where you long to be...Close your eyes let your spirit start to soar, and you'll live as you've never lived before.” --Erich Fromm As I continue on this journey into the world of customer service, I begin to see that there are more and more people out there who are just as passionate as I am about making the business world more customer-friendly! Who would have ever thought that my 15+ years of customer service experience would have led me to the position that I am in right now. I kind of feel like a "Professor of Customer Service"! Imagine if they offered Ph.D.'s in customer service ;)
Blogging has certainly changed the way the world transmits and consumes all types information. Consumers now have a way of researching companies before they do business with them. If you provide bad customer service, you can bet that those customers' experiences will leak out and be passed around at lightning speed! And if you aren't monitoring what is being said about your company, you're going to miss out on engaging with those passionate customers!
I've truly, truly enjoyed blogging for the Know More Media network. The publishing/editorial team's customer (blogger) service is outstanding and I learn something new just about every day. If you're new to blogging but have been a writer for awhile, you'll find so many tips and resources available through the network so you, too, can get started in this thing we've called "new media".
If this is your first time here, feel free to browse through all the other blogs in the network that are listed in the right-hand sidebar. Also, if you've enjoyed my posts here, subscribe to receive updates!

Congratulations to you too, Maria. I've found your blog always has such interesting and practical tips and insights.
Maria Palma - Professor of Customer Service definitely has a nice ring to it. :)
