Those of us who spend any time reading customer service or marketing blogs know that Best Buy (BBY) has a pretty rotten (like smelly manure) reputation in terms of service.  And if you don't know, check out my previous posts about Best Buy or just do a search for "Best Buy customer service" and you'll come up with dozens of horror stories.  You may have also read about the investigation by Consumerist that caught some members of the Geek Squad stealing files from customers' computers.  Naughty boys.

Well, Andy Beal of Marketing Pilgrim has a good story about Best Buy that may restore your faith in this big-box retailer.  Is this an isolated incident or a beginning to a whole new era of customer service?
