Here are some good Sunday night reads - or early Monday morning reads, depending on where you are in the world!
  • I get excited when I discover new customer service blogs...Just this past week I found Customer U, a blog "where learning about customers never stops!"  What added even more to the excitement is that the author, Paul Schwartz, is also a fellow San Diegan.  Read more about him and the blog, plus check out Paul's company, Congruity.

Macy's

More than a huge disappointment. Whatever happened to integrity, customer service and honoring the sales price?
I went to make a major purchase and noticed it was not on sale. The sales associate told me he could give me a discounted price. When I returned home, I looked up the product on my computer and noticed it was on sale! It was almost 1,000.00 less than the price which was so graciously offered to me.
In addition, I have been contacting customer service since the 5th of January and have had not one reply.
I will not make any comments on how filthy this department was.
Currently, I am trying to contact headquarters with no success. When a price is posted as the sale price, Macy's has the legal obligation to sell that product to the customer for the mentioned price.
So much for service!
