I just found out about this event taking place next month. "Create a Wow" Virtual Conference will be held online from January 8-11, 2008 and is sponsored by IdeaMarketers.com and CreateAWow.com.
Most of the conference is geared towards providing information for internet marketers, however, there is a seminar given by David Nour that may be of interest. He'll be talking about relationship marketing using LinkedIn.
I know that "relationship marketing" is a new concept to many businesses, but I
think this is going to be the future of customer service. People are constantly bombarded with messages, so the only way that you're going to get through all that noise is to establish relationships with them either offline or online.
As I browsed the Create A Wow blog, I came across this great quote by Michael E. Gerber:
