Is Free Shipping Really Free Shipping? FlowerChat.com Bares the Truth About 1-800 Flowers
Offering free shipping is one way that online merchants get us to buy with them.  I don't know about you, but when I shop online I tend to buy from companies who do offer free shipping as opposed to those who do not.

1800flowers-350x253.gif But when they say "Free Shipping", is it really indeed free shipping?  I would hope so.  However, this may not always be the case.  For example, there is this recent issue with 1800Flowers.  Apparently, a group of florists sent a letter to the FTC about 1800Flowers' "free shipping" advertisements.  From what I understand from the letter, these so-called shipping charges are actually "service" fees.
"By advertising "free shipping", 1800FLOWERS.COM doubly deceives consumers, first by mislabeling a "service fee" as a more acceptable "shipping fee"; and second by offering "free shipping" to imply the delivery charge is waived, when in fact it is not."

I wasn't aware of the issues concerning online florists until recently when I found out about this Florist Detective website.  It makes me wonder just how long a company thinks they can get away with deceiving their customers?  Do they know that information travels at lightning speed on the internet?

With the holiday season here, I know that many of you will be sending flowers to loved ones.  I personally have never used an online florist service to order flowers, so I can't make any recommendations on what companies to choose.  However, there is a Real Florists Blog that has a list of reputable florists in each state.

On Nov 24 07, I bought Norton 360 Upgrade for $71.99 however it did not down load so I had to go throught the whole process again and the second time it did not download. Three days later I still had nothing on my Computer, Took it in to be checked . There they fixed what ever and downloaded Order # 1636458209 which I shall pay for today. However You folks have also billed me for Order #1841592366 ($71.99) I do not require two as I only have one computer. I asked you via E Mail to Cancel the second, (No Reply) However I got a bill for both . I shall not pay for the second so Please Cancel. Don't look for Payment to the second order as Santa Clause doesn't live here or pay my Bill.
Thank You.
