Although I've been blogging for Know More Media for almost two years, this is the first time I've Easton Ellsworth, Dan Smith, Hal Halladay, Tim Stay, and Kimberlee Morrison in person. Even if I didn't blog for them, I would still say that the Know More Media booth was the best booth at the Expo. As you may recall on my previous post about trade booths, I believe that the best booths are the ones that are interactive and comfortable. I forgot to mention then that they have to be fun too! Can you say Wiiiiii???
Then there are my heroes during BlogWorld who are certainly worth mentioning...Robyn Tippins and Liz Strauss. They let me crash in their hotel room on Friday night after the Zappos party. John Hong of Zappos was a great host, which is no surprise being that Zappos has phenomenal service.
We wandered around a couple casinos trying to find another party, but ended up at a bar where we met up with Jeremy Pepper who, by the way, has written a great post about Blogging Ethics.
The night was topped off with a cup of cocoa and a bowl of chicken noodle soup in the cafe at the Monte Carlo. Liz Strauss (in the flesh!), whose blogs have helped me be a better writer, was sitting across from me. It was a great way to end the night and the service was Awesome I might add! I don't think I've ever heard a server sing and smile so much while he worked. It was good vibes all around...
