Doing Favors For Friends: A Great Nordstrom Experience
Service Untitled passes on a great Nordstrom experience that Don DiJulius had.  When I worked in the kids shoe department at Nordstrom we had few people come in to have a shoe repaired, but when they did, we would just take the shoe and fix it with no questions asked.  It was just something you did - like doing a favor for a friend.  Helping-Others-Quote.pngActually we sent the shoes to an outside company to be fixed unless it was something we could do ourselves like add another hole in the strap or stretch the shoe out.  Regardless, all the customers were grateful for the service.
