"We must never underestimate the simple human desire to be treated with respect." -- Denise Griffitts, Internet Mastery
This goes back to the #1 Rule, also known as "The Golden Rule". There are some people who don't believe in karma and that's too bad for them because karma is indeed a part of life. If you're wondering why you always get bad service, think about how you treat others.
"Customer service is not optional. It's not trivial. And it's not easily standardized." -- Eric Fraterman, Customer Service Tips & Perspectives
I completely agree with this statement. If you are going to start a business or you want to work for a business, you have to understand that you will be dealing with customers - no ifs, ands, or buts about it. Customer service is not to be taken lightly!

Customer service thought number 2 struck me the most. There are some business establishments out there that act as if the customers should be the ones to give them service. And bad customer service really gets back to you. Not only does it make you more vulnerable to bad service yourself, it is also bad for your own business. Personally, I don't even bother returning to a store where I've been treated badly.
