
Well, Meredith Matthews of My Lemonade Stand has 10 Ways to Turn Around a Bad Day at Work (via The Engaging Brand Blog). In my experience, the best thing that works for me is to take a 10 minute break, go outside and just clear my head. Perhaps go get a cup of coffee - that always puts a smile on my face, especially if it's a mocha with lots of whip cream ;)
What also works: Make the choice to have a better day. Tell yourself you're going to have a better day...You may think it's silly, but even writing it down a few times helps! Remember back in the day when the teacher made you write on the chalk board if you did something bad? Same concept...
