The Trade Show Experience
If you've ever had to design a trade show booth, you know that it's all about creating a display that attracts potential customers.  During my ACCE visit, I noticed a few standouts in the crowd of about 50 or so vendors...

One company that I noticed right away was Avaya.  What caught my eye was the color - red.  I did like that there were interactive computers that provided all the information that a potential customer might need to know about the company.  The sales exec that I spoke with, Jeffrey Kayne, walked me through a very detailed explanation of their products and services.  Information about Avaya will be available in an upcoming post - stay tuned!

My favorite overall was the Oracle booth.

Granted, Oracle probably has the budget to create a very nice booth with couches, mind you.  You could get comfortable and watch a presentation about the company instead of standing up and listening to a 30 minute sales pitch. 

The experience that a customer has with you begins from the first point of contact - whether it be on the phone, in the store, or at a trade show booth.  Make sure it's a memorable experience!

It's interesting to see which exhibits you picked as standouts - they were probably booths that had been customized vs. a rental booth that was updated to fit the company.

I loved finding your comment about the Avaya booth, we designed a booth for a recent show and incorporated the Red, and it was a great success. Its quite high fashion and eye catching.
