Bob Webb, the VP of Sales, demonstrated one of their key concepts. In a nutshell, this software allows a manager to see all the employees' schedules on any given day. If an employee calls in sick, the manager is able to update the schedule in just one click. The best thing about it is that the manager doesn't even have to be in the building or near a computer. He/she could change the schedule with a web-enabled phone.
The big benefit of this software is that it saves the manager a great deal of time and paperwork. As someone who worked in management before, this concept would have saved me some headache! That's one less headache my employees or customers would have had to deal with ;)
