Valeria Maltoni of Conversation Agent shares her Comcast woes over at the Fast Company Blog - a scene that many of us are pretty familiar with. Being bounced around from department to department, pushy sales people trying to sell you things you don't need, and of course, being called by the wrong name. Well, we expect those things from a big-name telecommunications company. And the funny thing is, I said, "We expect".

How did we come to expect this type of service? It's interesting to me that people treat their relationship with a company as if they're married to them. Oh, they'll change someday is the thought that goes through the mind. And really, why does Comcast continue to grow and acquire all these customers when people know that their service is so shady?
Oh, they'll change someday...

It is kind of sad that a simple thing like getting a name right and correcting it promptly would be such a big deal. I guess it is if nobody owns getting it done or making sure it happens.
