Devoted to customer service and the principles of exceptional customer services

I'd like to revisit this idea that "it's the little things that count".  A reminder of this came when I was reading John Richardson's post,  Change Your Attitude With One Simple Task.  John tells us about the one little task that made a huge difference for his customers.  It was this one little thing that changed the customers' whole attitude and perception of his business. 

Isn't it amazing what a simple act of kindness could do to someone? All John did was clean his customers' windows. 

 

What is that one little thing you can do for your customer that would put you in the "above and beyond" category?  If you're a retail store clerk maybe it's helping a mother with her three young kids take her bags to the car.  Perhaps it's giving the hotel guest a free upgrade because you notice that they stay at your hotel quite often. 

Make a difference in someone's day! When it's your turn to be a customer, I'm sure someone will want to make your day...
