"Wow, those are the 5 most ridiculous things I have every read in my 10 years managing people. Unless of course this is for a team working at McDonald's. It is obvious the author knows nothing about morale or how to inspire people. Not to mention, several of those examples qualify as harassment in the workplace."
I would love it if Tim would have offered his ideas on what we could do instead. The whole idea of boosting morale is to have fun and of course, to recognize your employees for a job well done. Dear Readers, do you have any ideas to share? If you're an employee working for someone else, what would boost your morale?

Usually companies that treat their employees as their #1 customer do not have to work on boosting low morale, they do things to keep morale high in the first place. I have always liked when my ideas were implemented into things the company was doing, or even when my ideas are taken into consideration. I'm one of those people who likes to see the fruits of my labor so knowing that I've made a difference wherever I work is a huge morale boost for me.
