Product Merchandising and the Customer Experience
Nowadays we live in an electronic-driven world.  Most of us have a cell phone, business people have laptops, and just about every household owns at least one TV.  Many entrepreneurs are capitalizing on the growing demand for electronics, but just because you open up shop doesn't necessarily mean you'll do the business.

I came across this article that provides some tips on product merchandising in order to create a better shopping experience for consumers.  Product merchandising is especially important in bigger retail stores.  Customers have so many choices and it can become confusing when products are not labeled correctly or the features of the product are not displayed. 

Merchandising was one of my favorite things to do when I worked at Wet Seal, Sears, and Nordstrom.  Creating eye-appealing displays plays a big role in providing a welcoming atmosphere.  Take a look at your store from the customer's perspective...Is the signage easy to read? Do customers often misinterpret what the sale sign says?  Are there empty shelves?  Are the products available on their corresponding display?  Remember that every little detail counts!
