Devoted to customer service and the principles of exceptional customer services

I was watching Wayne Dyer on PBS the other night and he talked about how many people in this world are inflexible.  How I interpreted what Dr. Dyer said is that some people are very resistant to change - they just stick to their rules and it's either "their way or nothing at all". 

I've had to work with people like that.  I would try to explain my point of view and show them how much easier it would be to do something, but I would get the "Well, that's the way it's always been done..."

If you've ever watched that movie Mona Lisa Smile with Julia Roberts, you may be able to relate to the character she plays in the movie and the challenge she faced standing up to decades of traditions.  That's how many corporate structures are set up.  Some of them have been in business for many, many years and refuse to be flexible about their policies.  It says alot about the CEO or owner of the company and the executives that make up the head of the organization.
