When guests come in, Colin will greet them with the drink for the evening. How's that for a warm welcome?
This concept of entertaining well can be applied to your business. When customers walk through that door, you want to greet them as if they
are guests in their home. Why not offer your customer a cup of water or some goodies? I knew of a real estate agent who made up this little "menu" for clients to pick and choose what kind of drink they'd like and then she'd go to the vending machine and get their "order". This can be hard in a store with a great deal of foot traffic, so a very warm greeting will suffice in this setting.
