Devoted to customer service and the principles of exceptional customer services

There's something noticeably different about an Apple (AAPL) store that is quite different from your typical electronics store - it's small.  There's an Apple store at the Fashion Valley Mall here in San Diego and you'd expect to see iPods and all kinds of gadgets lined up against the walls.  In actuality, the store is very stream-lined - similar to a high-end fashion boutique. 

Does this way of retailing serve well for Apple?  I think so because Apple has created a customer experience that is "warm and cozy".  I don't know about you, but I feel overwhelmed when I walk into stores like Circuit City. 

Well, now there's buzz that Apple may collaborate with Best Buy (BBY) to create these little Apple stores within 300 Best Buy stores across the country.  I don't know if this is such a great idea because wouldn't that mean that employees would still have to follow Best Buy "policies"?  What if those policies aren't in alignment with Apple's way of doing business?  Will that affect the customer experience that Apple customers are accustomed to?
