Have you had one of those days when you just didn't want to deal with people? (Uh, who hasn't, right?) And if you work in customer service, well, this can be a very challenging situation. You have to deal with people and there's no way around it - unless you're a manager and can hide away in an office for an hour or two!
In the foreword to Phil Gerbyshak's book, 10 Ways to Make It Great, Jackie Valent says this:
"If you aren't happy with your current situation, you have a couple options. The first option is to complain about it and jut let it continue...The second option is to just let it continue and suffer in silence...The third option is to change it."
Remember that! You always have to the option to change how you feel at any given point in time. So, how do you chase away those blues that stop you from giving your customers the full attention they need?
Well, for one, you can change your attitude with a little song and dance...like Terry Starbucker did at SOBCon07! Check out the blogger's dance below...

You are absolutely right Maria. Happiness is a CHOICE, be it in customer service or anywhere you are. And Terry dancing is enough to make me choose to be happy today. Thanks for the reminder!
