I wanted to avoid writing this, but it’s been festering inside for a couple weeks now and I need to just get it off my chest! I’m upset that the airlines have cut down so much and are making customers pay for their CEO’s big bonuses…Let me explain…
It’s been awhile since I’ve flown any carrier besides Southwest. Most of my travel is within California, so naturally I choose Southwest. I don’t expect anything but peanuts, but that’s fine because any flight within California is usually about an hour. Ok, so maybe I really could have done without the sandwich - I know that there are people with bigger issues than I had at that moment. However, when my airline flight attendant friend tells me that the United Airlines CEO just took a $39 Million bonus, I really flipped out. Mind you, UA also has the “limited food” service available as well. Funny thing is, my friend told me that supposedly the CEO of UA is afraid to eat any of the food when he’s flying for fear of what the employees may do to the food! Ha!
