For the past two weeks a few of our authors here at Know More Media have been meeting up on Mondays for a weekly teleconference to share ideas and thoughts about our blogs. It’s pretty nice to actually hear someone’s voice - and that’s because I sit in front of the computer all day and hardly ever talk to anybody ;) ![]()
After our first call Easton Ellsworth posted his thoughts about how phone calls can sometimes be better than phone calls. Even letters can be nice too! One elderly lady I know was so thrilled the other day when she received a letter in the mail from a friend. It’s nice to know that the art of letter writing still exists…
In response to Easton's post, Kent Blumberg shared his own thoughts about using appropriate technology to reach and serve your customers. I like point #4: The technology might get in the way of building a real person-to-person relationship.
When was the last time you called a customer or wrote them a letter…or a thank you note?
