We’ve become a celebrity-crazed society and the only way companies can think of selling their products is to plaster a glamour face right next to it. This strategy may be ok for the youngsters, but as we get older, we’re able to sniff out all the B.S.
Exhibit A: Here’s a picture of Katharine McPhee who has been photographed with her cute little Blackberry. Is it just me or does she look a bit uncomfortable standing there holding up a phone? As if she’s saying, “I’m just doing this because they paid me to…”
So what happens after you buy the product? Well, you get kicked to the curb like a bad stepchild.
What’s the alternative? Hmmm…what about good ole’ customer service? You don’t need a million dollar celebrity to provide what you should be doing in the first place, eh?
