Now, for some reason, I thought that I was in the majority when it came to doing something you love. I figured people worked in their jobs or career because that’s what they love to do. However, I’m beginning to realize that there are probably more people out there doing something they despise, but they keep doing it because they feel that they “have to”. There are mouths to feed and bills to pay….and this hatred for their work is sucking energy from them - so much energy that they can’t even begin to pursue what brings them joy.
Last night I started listening to the audio book of Klaus Joehle’s Money is Love. In recording #1 he talks about this pursuit of joy and doing what brings us happiness. What if this was the meaning of life?
Now just imagine if every single person was doing something that brought them extreme joy. There wouldn’t be bad customer service stories anymore, huh?

Thanks for the link, Maria. How nice! I am happy to have made your acquaintance. Good for you for doing what you love...there are WAY too many people who aren't, and that's something I hope to have a hand in changing (at least a little bit ;)
