Subconsciously, I used to be a negative-thinker (Me? A negative thinker? Hard to believe, I know). Although I would say positive things on the outside, on the inside I would have those voices full of doubt and negativity. Little did I know that those thoughts running around in my head were causing me much mental and physical anguish - not to mention I was attracting bad things in my life.
Anyhow, when a friend told me this story, I thought it would be perfect to share it with you because it illustrates perfectly what I'm talking about...
I have heard it before, I've read it before, I've applied the theory and it has proven to be True. "Change the way you look at things and the things you look at Will Change". Since my recent experience at the local Wienershnitzel store #771 where I received excellent customer service, I have noticed a sort of domino effect. I have since visited a Walmart store, Food 4 Less, Kip's Diner, Wings and Things, and Jamba Juice where I received a higher level of customer service than I've been accustomed to at these establishments. The service has always been up to standard at these places that I frequently visit, but it has been noticeably better since I had the Great experience at the Wienerschnitzel restaraunt.
I have had two experiences at Kip's Diner that has Trumped any dining experience that I have had in the past. One night I arrived at the restaraunt about 5 minutes before closing. I entered and I noticed that the seating area was totally empty, but I wanted to eat in because I was pretty hungry at the time. I placed my order and the cashier told me that my order would have to be a carry out, because they had already cleaned all of the tables. I told her that I really wished to eat in because I was so hungry, and upon hearing this the manager came from the back area of the restaraunt and allowed me to have a seat and dine in. Needless to say I was very grateful and impressed by the level of customer service that I was provided.
The second time I arrived at Kip's, the restaraunt had been closed for 15 minutes and when the Manager saw me walk up to the door, He came and unlocked it for Me and allowed Me to place a carryout order. I don't think the Staff was too pleased with His decision but the food was excellent as usual and I thanked Them all for Their Professionalism. For Me the Theory has proved to be valid--"Believe That You Will Receive Great Customer Service And You Will Receive Great Customer Service".
By the way, all of the afore mentioned Establishments are located in El Cajon, Ca which is a subdivision in San Diego County, so please come and visit!
