If we’re to change the perception of business, then those in positions of power must become attuned to people’s needs, take time to cultivate their individuality, and figure out what motivates them. Understanding personality is the first step, because it’s where you’ll truly gain insight into what makes everyone tick.
Sure, you may think that the "bottom line" pays your paycheck, but the people you work with decide whether or not it will be an easy journey to that money. What's the point of making all that money if you're the manager who treats everyone like dirt and your coworkers don't support you? Why work for a company who doesn't listen and will not even get to know you?
