Why?
Why do I have to….?
Why are you doing that?
Why?
Children are such curious beings, yet somehow that need to know attitude fades as they grow into adults. They stop asking why and suddenly turn into “Yes” people. Yes, I’ll study that so I can have a good-paying job. Yes, I’ll do that even though it goes against my passions. Yes, I’ll do something I totally hate. Yes, I’ll make the customer follow our policies even though the policy doesn‘t make sense.
What happened to asking the why questions?
Why am I in this job if I can’t be caring and helpful? Why do I continue to do something that doesn’t make me happy? Why do airline CEOs get paid bonuses while their employees get pay cuts?
