Chad M. Bauman, the Director of Marketing & Communications at Americans for the Arts, shares some great customer service nuggets which serve as a reminder that no matter what industry we are in, we still work in customer serivce. After reading his post on The Unhappy Customer, I'm reminded of the time I went to the Copley Symphony Hall here in San Diego to see Wayne Dyer speak. My boyfriend and I had purchased general seating and were a little late. However, the usher directed us to the front where there were many seats open - even though we hadn't paid for front row tickets. It made the experience that much better!
Whether you work in the art industry, automotive industry, or a janitor at an elementary school, you always have an opportunity to make someone's day much brighter.
