In the world of the “blogosphere”, it’s always nice to put a face to a name. Although many people put their pictures up on their blogs, it’s not as fun as actually meeting the blogger in person...
Friday morning I sat down with Becky Carroll of Customers Rock! and Petra Consulting Group to chat about life, blogging, and of course, customer service. As I sat there in that Starbucks with Becky, I realized the importance of getting to know your customer on a one-and-one basis - or rather, connecting in person. Many people conduct business via the internet, but it definitely isn’t the same as “the human touch”. I walked away from our talk feeling more inspired. It’s the kind of inspiration you can’t get via email or a blog.
So, to Becky, thank you for all that you do and for the positive energy!
And to you, my dear reader, I ask: How are you connecting with your customers on a more personal basis?

Thanks - great advise, Maria, and I was wondering how this carreied over to knowing readers at a blog? Thoughts?
