I don’t know about you, but when I read a good customer service story, I feel like I’ve taken a breath of fresh air! It’s been a good week in that I’ve stayed clear of the negative stories out there. Reading one after another after another puts a bit of a damper on your soul - which is probably why I haven’t been posting very much lately. ![]()
So, thank Goodness for Phil Gerbyshak of Make It Great! who shared this article with me titled Customer Service Surprises. The motto (no pun intended!) of the story? Giving to your customers out of the kindness of your heart. Surprise them with phenomenal service that they can’t get elsewhere! However, do it because you want to, not because I’m telling you to ;)
If you have any diamonds in the rough to share, email them to maria [at] customersarealways.com. I'll post them for Monday's Carnivale of Customer Service!

Hi, Maria and Phil! Can I share Kevin Salwen's story as the CSE of the Week? It sure is powerful to be sharing wonderful customer service experiences. See you at the carnivale on Monday. Keep at it! :)
