For those of you who work in customer service, you know how some days can be a little stressful. This is especially true for those in the airline industry who have to deal with customers who “need to be” somewhere during bad weather and blame you for delays. ![]()
So, the next time you meet an airline rep having one of those days, do what Harry Tucker did and give him/her some words of encouragement:
“...I explained to her that while all of these people were intent on ruining her day, the fact that she had other people in her life that really cared about her and that she had passions in her life that gave her life meaning was far more important than what was happening here today. In circumspect, what was happening here wasn't important and shouldn't stress her out.”
Ha! If only I had a customer say this to me during my Nordstrom days when customers chewed me out when we didn’t have a shoe in their size ;)
