Welcome! It’s another great day at CustomersAreAlways and another Carnivale of Customer Service! We have some warm, feel-good things to share in this edition of the carnivale and I hope it will start off your week in the right direction...![]()
The great Phil Gerbyshak of Make It Great! sent over a couple links including one from Anna Farmery’s The Engaging Brand. Anna shares an experience in which a customer service rep asked, "Good morning Anna, how can I provide value in your life today?" I need to know what company this is so I can call them every morning!
Phil Gerbyshak also shares the continuing saga of his experience with Papa John’s customer service - which was discussed here over a month ago. Phil still hasn’t received a response from Papa John’s regarding his incident which makes us wonder whether Papa John’s “better pizza” really has any meaning at all.
G.P. over at Fish Creek House tells a customer service story about a visitor who came for a midweek getaway to finish a manuscript. G.P. Learned that “...Sometimes the simple things; giving space, being graceful and just being a kindred spirit... is the best customer service.”
Well, that’s it for this edition of Carnivale of Customer Service. I hope you enjoyed reading these stories as much I did! Thank you, Phil Gerbyshak and G.P. for your contributions...
The next Carnivale will be on March 9th. Send over the links to your great customer service stories or tips to share! If you don’t have a blog, you can just email me your article. My email is maria [at] customersarealways.com
