Carnivale of Customer Service: The First Spring Edition
Yes, it’s that time again, folks!  Spring is in the air, the birds are chirping louder than ever, the bees are buzzin’, and it’s the first spring edition of Carnivale of Customer Service! I can’t believe how quick the time has passed since our last Carnivale...Horse%20at%20the%20Fair.jpg

Without further ado, let’s get on with the show!

Fish Creek House tells us how the hotel industry should treat each and every customer - at least from what I read, that’s the way we should all be treated.  Yes, we need hugs - lots of them!  Had me thinking I just might hop on a plane and stay in Montana for a week ;)

Custserv offers a lesson for landlords - although as always, we can all learn something from reading it.  I think if we all think of each other as “business partners” instead of acting as if someone is more superior than the other, the business world would be a much happier place.

EStara shares some great news!  Get Human has given the Click to Call service on Amazon.com a good thumbs up!  It’s no surprise being that Amazon.com has always been on the customer’s side making sure that the Amazon experience is a good one.  I personally haven’t used the Click to Call service yet, but if you’d like to share your experience, please do!

Service Untitled has a great post about the most common issue that many of us face when having to call a company - too many phone numbers!  Reminds me of a recent incident where I wanted to cancel my service with a particular company...I went to their website which said, “If you would like to cancel your service, call 1-800....”  So I call the number on the website, wait a few minutes, and when I finally talk to a human she tells me that I need to call another 800 number!!  *Yikes!* I can feel my blood pressure going up so I won’t go on anymore...

As part of this carnivale I want to spread some good vibes and share this comment that was left by Philip.  Small gestures like that mean everything - even to our youngest customers!

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this carnivale!  I love all of you ;)

The next Carnivale of Customer Service is on March 26, so remember to send your submissions in before midnight PST on the 25th of March.  As always, I welcome anybody who would like to host the Carnivale!   Contact me at maria [at] customersarealways.com to submit an article or if you'd like to host...
