However, I really don’t celebrate milestones - although many are worth celebrating. In terms of blogs, I don’t really think it’s so much how many blog posts you have but the quality and value of those blog posts. I feel that business places too much emphasis on numbers - like what your average sales are per transaction and how many calls you can get through in an hour. It’s no wonder why customer service reps are in such a rush these days! There’s always some quota that must be met and it’s jeopardizing the quality of our relationships with each other. When you really take care of your customer , the numbers shouldn’t matter. Customers matter. As with blogging, it’s not how many posts you have or what “list” you’re on, but making a difference in the lives of others.
Speaking of numbers, a friend of mine pointed out that I now have 11 blogs. I’m too busy writing to even count, ok! She asked me how I can manage them all. Well, Easton over at BusinessBlogWire blogtipped me at the beginning of the month and he also wants me to share some of my secrets, so I will be doing that later on today - but I will be posting them over at my other blog, Online Business Resources. Meet you over there...stay tuned!
