Perhaps this answers the question I posed a couple months ago, Marketing and
I used to think marketing was just about letting people know who your company is, but now I realize that it’s much more than that. Marketing is about engaging with your customer and letting them know how important they are to you. It’s not just about letting people know who you are, but what you are all about.
Here’s another definition of marketing from Jay Lipe:
"Marketing is a process where everyone in your company pursues actions, at designated contact points, to increase sales, grow profits and deepen relationships."
