A Tale of Cold Pizza
Just when I was about to do my last post of the night about my pizza experience here in a little town called Lemoore (Seems like everyone in Lemoore eats pizza on Valentine‘s Day!), I read Phil Gerbyshak’s post about his experience with Papa John’s pizza.  First, I’ll tell you my thoughts about Phil’s experience and then tomorrow I’ll share my little story which is actually nothing compared to Phil‘s, but there‘s something to learn nonetheless...

Ok:

1.  Shouldn’t Papa John’s credit/debit card system be set up so that they are able to issue a Visa credit? In this day and age with practically everyone using a card to pay for purchases, you would think that their system would be more sophisticated.

2.  If I was the manager and Phil had to come down to pick up the pizza, I would have made a fresh new pizza and had it ready when Phil arrived. Or better yet, I would have made it and delivered it myself.  (That’s Nordstrom training for ya’!)  The driver could have still left the pizza on the porch and Phil would have cold pizza to eat in the morning.  Anyways, they say pizza tastes better when it’s cold and you have it for breakfast ;)

3. It should have been common sense for the manager to call the customers if he/she knew there was going to be a delay in delivery.  Papa%20John%27s%20Delivers.jpg

I really hope Papa John’s resolves this situation because I really like their pizza...By the way, that's a picture of the cold pizza left on Phil's porch.

That is GREAT!  I got some excitement on Valentine's Day and Papa John's can learn something new.  Thanks for sharing, Phil.

Stay tuned tomorrow for my fun pizza story!

Maria, Nordstrom is really famous for exceptional customer service. You're lucky to have worked with them. I agree with you in all accounts here. Papa John's better listen. :)

I got a canned message back when I submitted to their corporate site that someone locally will be contacting me. I hope they do so soon. I'm still hungry :)
