- The Fish Creek House has an excellent post that outlines a 13 step checklist on how to treat your guests better. The tips are mainly for innkeepers, but I think we can all learn a thing or two from reading them. Don’t forget: “Guests return to inns because of the innkeepers.”

- Service Untitled comments on a couple of Seth Godin’s recent posts about customer service and asks the question: “What do you think of Customer Service 1.1/ 2.0?” Whatever number you call it, I say that there’s still much to be done.
- Meikah of Custserv learned some things from reading the Business Week article that I also talked about. One of the things Meikah learned is to be more creative. I thought about that and realized that should be one of the qualifications of hiring - someone who is creative. Well, I know that we’re all creative, but finding someone who isn’t afraid to express their creativity - that’s the challenge.
- There’s something many of us customer service bloggers overlook - myself included - when we offer customer service tips. It’s something I thought would be standard and something we all do. Obviously some companies don’t do it, so it must be addressed. Phil Gerbyshak tells us what it is.
- Over at Customers Rock! Becky Carroll speaks on the language of love - love for our customers, that is. It’s a great article, especially the point on physical touch. People love it when you have a sincere interest in them. Reach out and touch someone!
