Because of this supposed increase in awareness of germs and the increase in availability of hand sanitizers in business establishments, will customers begin expecting customers to offer hand sanitizers all the time? Personally, if you ask me, I think it’s just Purell’s way of scaring people and companies into buying their products. I haven't seen any businesses in my area offering hand sanitizer, have you?
Anyhow, The New York Times article also says that the supermarket named Kroger Co has been offering hand sanitizing wipes near its shopping carts. Will other companies follow suit?

My local Harris Teeter in Raleigh has been offering them for over a year. They keep the carts in an area where there are a lot of birds..and the birds do their duty on the carts. In a recent blog, I posted that they could be contributing to Avian Flu.
