For those of you who don’t know, I’m pretty addicted to building websites. When I was in college I used to stay up until 3 a.m. surfing the internet and working on my personal website. Until now I try to keep up with what’s going on with “Web 2.0” and soak up as much advice as I can regarding building and maintaining a website. ![]()
Sure, it’s one thing to create a website and get traffic to it, but the art of having a truly successful website is to have those first-time visitors coming back for more - which is something I’m constantly working on. So, for those of you interested in starting your own website or blog (or want some SEO advice), I thought I’d share this interview with Aaron Wall, the Author of SEO Book. Joe Whyte asks Aaron Wall:
What is more important when considering a web host? Customer Service, Reliability or Reputation?
Aaron answers:
I usually use hosts recommended by friends. So that solves the reputation part for me, but that reputation is built off of reliability and customer service. I don’t think you can say just one of them is important. If you are creating a serious business website you need them all.
