Devoted to customer service and the principles of exceptional customer services

Not too long ago I discovered Brian Massey’s blog, Customer Chaos where his focus is on building customer-based communities.  Power to the people! (Sorry, had to just throw in that line there).  

Now, the word “chaos” stirred up some memories of a time during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale when a tornado hit the kids’ shoe department.  There were literally hundreds of shoes all over the floor and people waving their numbers in our faces.  Having our customers pull numbers from the little red ticket dispenser only made it feel like the deli store, but it was our only system to create order amongst the chaos.
