The Power of the Thank You
If you want to be creative in your company, your career, your life, all it takes is one easy step… the extra one. When you encounter a familiar plan, you just ask one question: "What ELSE could we do?" - Dale Dauten

The reality of any work situation is that there are people working there who view their job as just that - a job.  They only look forward to getting their paycheck and until then simply go through the motions.  No initiative.  No enthusiasm.  No going “above and beyond”.  Thank%20You.jpg

If you have someone like that working in your company, it can be detrimental to the atmosphere of the workplace and the service culture of the organization.  However, fear not, there’s one thing you can do...

Thank them.  Yes, give thanks!  Never underestimate the power of the Thank You.  Let me give you an example of this in my personal life...
Today I babysat my three Goddaughters because it was my best friend’s birthday and she wanted to go get a massage.  I have to admit that I wasn’t really looking forward to spending time with these three little girls because they tend to get “out of hand”.  Today was one of those days!  I was at my wits end!

When my friend came home she gave me a big hug, a gift, and said, “Thank you!”  I felt so much better after that ;)

Have you thanked your employees today?
