Word around the block is that Bob Nardelli, the CEO of Home Depot (HD), was fired yesterday.  It doesn’t come as a shocker being that the complaints on the company’s customer service still come pouring in.  However, the big shocker is this:

Nardelli received $210,000,000.00 in severance pay!!

What the *bleep*?!?

I know that there’s a great deal of politics surrounding the whole situation, which I don’t even want to try to speculate on.  Could it have been that Nardelli didn’t focus enough on trying to raise the stock prices?  Was Nardelli making more than the stockholders?
