Devoted to customer service and the principles of exceptional customer services

As I’m browsing the web for inspiring customer service posts, I stumbled upon the St. Mary’s County (Maryland) Department of Public Works and Transportation’s 2007 Customer Service Plan.  It’s a ten-page .PDF file that outlines in detail what the customer service mission and goals are for the organization.  It brought to mind the notion that it is very important to have your customer service plan down in writing and for everyone in the organization to know it by heart.  Not too many companies have a “Customer Service Plan” and I commend St. Mary’s County Dept.
