Via What About Clients? I discovered a new blog, More Partner Income by Tom Collins. Although this blog is dedicated to information on managing a law firm, I found the post on Cost Cutting Tips for the Law Firm to be of interest - mainly because among all the tips there is no suggestion to “fire your employees”. Collins also says:
“If you want to increase profitability, you need to concentrate on increasing revenue rather than becoming obsessed about reducing expenses.”![]()
Remember the other day I talked about focus and the Law of Attraction? I’m not the only one who thinks that the focus should be on increasing revenue! When your company is so focused on cutting costs, it starts to affect the performance of your employees and how they interact with customers - especially if there is word going around that there are going to be “job cuts”.
By the way, have you thanked your lawyer today? Also, if you are a lawyer that happens to be reading this blog, you may want to hop on over to What About Clients’ list of Great Client/Customer Service Blogs!
