I subscribe to Rosa Say’s newsletter (she also has a great blog, by the way!) and she talks about hiring people with a great attitude and...
“Great workplace environments are the catalysts of great attitude because they are filled with hope and promise. They cradle us with a safe place to react as we instinctively or emotionally need to, and
then they provide a framework in which we’ll go forward. Will we go forward with the best possible alternative, one imbued with optimism?"
Who wants to walk into work everyday and be met with a manager who doesn’t smile and just barks orders all day? Or even worse, a boss who micro-manages everything and wants to know what you’re doing every second? Being in this type of workplace does not make you want to be productive and it’s not healthy. It affects your attitude towards your fellow co-workers and your customers.
