It’s getting close to that time of year...People rushing around to find last minute gifts and long lines at the post office. I was just thinking the other day that I needed to get some gifts mailed off or else they may not reach my loved ones in time. I also thought that I needed to start doing my online shopping now to give time for shipping. I usually expect to receive something within a week and a half from ordering it. ![]()
Anyways, now that I’ve read Lora Adrianse’s post about how Amazon exceeded her expectations, it’s likely that I will do my shopping on Amazon! Lora shares a great story...
It’s a great example of how to make your customer remember you ;)
Keep those great customer service stories coming!!

The Amazon experience isn't by chance, this something they sat down and planned, implemented and constantly monitor. When is the last time any business you know of did that?
They knew that in order to be number one that product and product mix wasn't enough. So they created a competitive edge with the people that mattered most to any successful company, and that's its customers.
Most businesses are product centered and cash driven. Their bottom line always comes first before the customer. Amazon is people driven with product being 2nd. Oh! Yes, they watch their inventory turn over and sales volume etc, but it is relation to the customer.
One Might ask where is your business focus.
